We pick you up from Aswan Airport or your local accommodation for boarding around 8:30 AM, then set sail around 9:00 AM. After lunch on the sun deck, arrive at Staita on a small island for an interactive demonstration of how Sun Bread is made—dough is risen using the sun and baked in a mud oven, a staple tradition in Upper Egypt. After a short sail, arrive at the Temple of Kom Ombo, Egypt’s unique double temple dedicated to Horus the Elder and Sobek. Take time to explore the temple and visit the crocodile mummification museum. Back on board, enjoy refreshments while sailing toward Gebel el-Silsila. After dinner, the crew demonstrates Tahteb (traditional stick dancing) and guests are welcome to join.
